Patna: All the universities of Bihar will have to complete the election of student union within next 50 days. The new order is given by the Governor and Chancellor Satya Pal Malik. Malik also held a meeting with the Vice Chancellor of all the universities on Saturday evening. After this meeting lasted for nearly seven hours, Malik made it clear that it is important for the elections to solve the problems related to the students. According to the governor, now all the Vishwavidyalaya VC students prepare the calendar for the elections.
In the meeting, it was also ordered to conduct the examination at the earliest to regularize all those universities where the session is running late. The meeting has been asked to introduce the biometric system for attendance of teachers and employees. It was also decided to convene all the VCs with the Chancellor on the third Wednesday of every month for review in this meeting.
The Chancellor said that now all the universities and colleges will have to arrange for common rooms and toilets by March next for the students in each of their buildings.
